Sherman Parks and Recreation is offering many great classes, team sports, and special events throughout the year. We offer several activities and workshops that span only one day or a few weeks. Many are repeated throughout the year, but these do require advance registration. Please click on any picture to see deadlines for registration and further information or view our calendar. Please call us if the the registration date has passed; there may still be room available in the class. Unless otherwise stated, these activities take place at the Sherman Youth Center. 	Art for Kids Continue creativity through the summer.

	Arts & Crafts Creative crafts for ages 5-10 years.

	B.A.C.E. Camp Balance, Agility, and Conditioning Enhancement is for young athletes or for those just wanting to be active.

	Calling All Cooks Kids Cooking Class

	Cheer Learn the basics of cheerleading from SHS Cheer Coach, Linda Estes.

	Crafty Kids

	Crazy Crafts Come get crafty!

	Dance Class Introduction to basic ballet , jazz, and tap!

	English as a Second Language Class Learn basic English

	Fight Time Learn basic martial arts!

	Guard Start Designed to guide 11-14 year olds to the American Red Cross Lifeguarding Program.

	Homemade Classics Learn how to make shampoo, lotions and body scrubs!

	Jazzercise Jazzercise...it shows!!

	Karate Karate is back at the Sherman Youth Center!

	Summer Track Ages 6-18.

We are currently scheduling classes for the upcoming months. If you have an idea for a program or class, please let us know. We are also looking for individuals to teach classes within our department.
